Crimson Casks is a blended malt Scotch whisky built around maturation in premium sherry and red wine casks. It arrives at 46% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration, so the influence of those casks comes through clearly in the glass.
The 750 ml bottle pours a warm, layered whisky, with oak, spice and dried fruit joined by dark chocolate, plum jam and redcurrant. Each sip opens up further, closing out smooth and long — a whisky with real depth for drinkers who look for character in a blend.
